The shipping process and wrapping up last minute orders

Hey guys, It's been a very crazy few weeks here. We have 99% of the labels applied now. Family time has cut into our project time rather fierce. I have 2 high school freshman starting school Monday and both are in marching band, the last 2 weeks have been filled with band camp and parent meetings.
We will have all the labels finished up this week and begin packaging for shipping. My intention is to begin with the starter sets and working our way up from there with packaging. Starting the following week we will begin the process of mailing all the sets out. I will post an update before then.
With Backerkit - I will be locking addresses on Friday of this week, if you need to make any changes please do so before then. If you don't it will slow down your package as we rework your shipping label to get you your paints.
Going forward we'll be posting updates on the packaging and shipping process every few days - We have a break in our family schedule and are going to use this to get everyone's paint sets shipped.

Alright everyone, been quiet on updates lately and I do apologize. Several mini trauma's in our lives and we have all been pulled numerous directions. I wanted to give everyone a big update on what is going on and how things are progressing.
First off - we are going to be delayed. I've tried everything in my power to NOT have this happen but we have had some rather serious issues with our labels and resolution. We received a physical copy of the proofs - and I can't lie, I hated them. Everything was muddy looking and just didn't look good at all. After going back and forth with the printer, AND our artist who designed the labels. We found it was a combination of things. We have already started correcting the issues, increasing resolution and changing fonts so that this isn't a concern. However - we are going to be 3-4 weeks behind schedule because of this. I can't apologize enough. I am not the type of person that doesn't follow through with things and not meeting our initial shipping deadline of mid July is tearing me up inside. Thankfully Kevin here at the studio has taken it upon himself to rework the label art and has 75% of them finished. The new labels? look much like the old labels, but very crisp and clear. I'm much happier with these. I hope everyone understands - I didn't want to send out anything that wasn't up to my standards. Shipping will begin August 15th. For those of you who are in on the second wave shipping, don't worry - we have been busy getting all the colors bottled that we are going to be able to mail everyone their items in one go - so, second wave shipping will now be first wave shipping.
Next - The good news is - Every single bottle of paint, wash and medium are bottled. We are just waiting to get the labels on the bottles. When the labels to arrive all of us plan on taking some vacation days from our normal 9-5 jobs to get everything finished ASAP.

Its been a crazy few weeks here, we have officially finished bottling all the paints for the kickstarter plus extra's. Our label printers are working on a few changes to the formatting of our label graphics, these should be on the way to us by end of week we anticipate. We ran into a few snags with formatting and had to work out the bugs along the way.
Shipping:
We are still on track for shipping in July at this point, I don't anticipate anything at this time causing any delays.
Backerkit / Survey's:
we closed the pre-order store and have locked all orders at this time, if you did NOT fill out a survey for backerkit please do so immediately. I will be contacting those that haven't individually through kickstarter first of the week. Without this survey I won't know where to mail your paints to!

We are still getting this worked out, learning a lot along the way. we have a domain, www.cephstudios.com and it currently appears we are selling ... watches ... We aren't selling watches, this was just a template that our web designer is using.

if you follow us on facebook, check in often we will be starting up the live streams again now that we are finished with bottling (and we can actually move around the studio again)

Update and moving forward

Alright everyone, we are closing in on the finish line quickly. There are 7 days left to complete the surveys, we are waiting on 11 members currently. If you haven't filled out your survey please do so ASAP! If you are unsure if you need to please let me know, I can resend the link and let you know if it has been completed or not.
Couple more things - Labels are on the way - along with the sticker decal and packaging stickers for the different box sets. T-Shirts, I will be ordering these next Friday once we get a final count from the survey's of what size and how many are needed.
Paint brushes - They are due to arrive today, from the images I have seen they all look amazing. Our manufacturer gave us a nice suprise and stamped all the brushes with our paint range name, Cuttlefish Colors. I'll post up pictures this evening once I get a chance to unbox them.
We'll have labels to apply, but thankfully machines will help make that happen quickly.
We've been smashing out production in the studio now for weeks, after last week and taking holiday to finish up I can honestly say we are about 90% finished bottling the individual colors.
Been a very busy couple of weeks and I can't thank everyone enough for being patient with us. We've had 2 boys graduate 8th grade and begin their journey into high school. A 6 year olds birthday to celebrate and my wife and I will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary next week. We are absolutely still on track to make our July shipping date though, which makes me very happy!

Up until now we haven't had much to update everyone on. We received the 10 serious collector paint names this week. Some fantastic choices all of them! All labels are now designed and have been sent to the printers. We are still waiting on the T-shirt orders - these we will submit once the survey's close. If you haven't filled out your survey yet, PLEASE do so! this will help us get final counts for everything. As for the paints, we have 2/3 of the entire line mixed and bottled so far. Been very busy at the studio these last few weeks. Seems every day I have a new shade of paint stained hands! Paint brushes are finished and being shipped out to us beginning of next week, Very happy with how they turned out. Our supplier was kind enough to stamp Cuttlefish Colors onto the handles for us!
Couple important dates to keep in mind!
June 5th - this is the last day the Survey's will be open. If you don't get your survey filled out by this time we won't be shipping you any items. Please, fill it out!
June 6th - this is the date that all cards will be charged for add-on's from Backerkit.
July 10th - this is the date we are estimating to begin shipping out the paints. I'll have more info on this in the future.
T-shirts - many of you asked about medium sizes - yes, absolutely I can do this. I tried to go back and add that as an option in backerkit but am unable to do so. If you are wanting a medium and haven't told us so far order a large and just send us a mesage, I'll make sure you get the correct size.
