Thank you!  we have hit our first stretch goal - that means everyone that ordered a full set of cuttlefish colors either in the early bird, full monty or serious collector will get these 10 additional colors for free!  If you didn't get in on one of these sets but would still like to pick up this goal as an add-on you can do that in the pledge manager when the campaign finishes.

Now, we need to talk about our next stretch goals.

  • $15000 - If we can hit this bench mark we are going to include 2 free brushes...for everyone that has pledged for the starter set and above!
  • $18000 - MORE PAINT, that's right.  If we reach this goal, we will add another 12!  yes 12! new colors to the paint range.  NOT only that, but again...if you have pledged for either the early bird, full monty or serious collector - these will be added for free!  All others if you wish to get this as an add-on you only have to do so at the end of the campaign, they will be $24 for these 12 new colors.

Now, on to the next announcement.  We have the image for the Cuttlefish Colors t-shirts.  These will be printed on black t-shirts and you will be able to select your size with the pledge manager at the end of the campaign.  NOT only that, but we have decided (with the help of some of you awesome backers) to offer these shirts up as an add-on at the end of the campaign for $20.

Wait, there's more...

I know many of you have waited for the pictures of the paints in each set - well we now have them!  below are each pledge set and the colors that are in them.  These were all painted over 25mm round plastic bases with a matt white primer.  Metallic colors were painted over a matt black primer.

Tomorrow we will post pictures of the additional paints in the range, along with the stretch goals and the 10 paints with no names...

Hey everyone
about 5 years ago – Thu, Mar 14, 2019 at 10:46:08 PM

Man in the van here, just wanted to say thank you to all of you for backing our project. We weren't expecting so much support and help. We have some info for everyone for paints that we didn't put and were sorry for that.

So, 15 ml for paints, 30 ml for washes.  We use a liquid pigment that produces a matte finish once dried.   Our blending medium is designed to mix with our paint line, and when dried is matte finish.  The paints are around the consistency of P3 / Scale75 for how thick/thin they are, difficult to put a number on this.  As for durability of the range?  We've used the majority of these paints for over 5 years personally.  We haven't seen any signs of fading or wearing off - but then again we don't leave our miniatures in the sun to often either.

Hopefully that helped people on some info on our paints, if you would to know more just ask.

Again thank so very much for the huge support and I hope to talk to you all soon.
